Pro golfer called McDonald's worker a
'stupid chinky' in drunken row

One of Scotland’s top pro golfers called a security guard a "stupid chinky" during a drunken row in McDonald's.

David Drysdale pleaded guilty to assault and racially aggravated breach of the peace at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old was with his wife Victoria when they went into McDonald's in Princes Street in the early hours of March 7 last year after a night out in Edinburgh.
The court was told the restaurant was very busy at the time of the incident and customers were having to queue for the one disabled toilet.
Security guard Hin Ho Li refused to let Drysdale upstairs to use closed toilets and an argument broke out. Fiscal depute Malcolm Stewart said when the golfer walked away from Mr Li, he called him "a stupid chinky".

British public schools exported to China

The BBC's George Alagiah reports on the rise of fee-paying schools in China which mirror British public schools. The schools are in contrast to the state system in China, with an emphasis on creativity and inquiry.

Amidst the growth of the glass and concrete grown of the city of Tianjin is Wellington College, a replica of the Berkshire school, there are 300 students mainly from the ex-patriate community but with a growing number of Chinese students. Mimi Zhoh is only 5 years old but her prestigious piano playing talent, has already seen her perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Mimi's parents pay more than £15000 a year in fees, they are doing more than buying an education, they are investing in a way of life. Her parents do not want her to endure the 24-7 life in China and in the future, want her to study abroad.

In light of the new visa restrictions for Chinese students coming to the UK,  David Cook, Master of Wellington College,in Tianjin, believes Chinese government should make it easier as possible for Chinese students to come to study in Britain, because the alternative means they are almost inevitable to go America to study.

Racist Attack On Chinese Man In Northern Ireland

Chinese man hospitalised following a brutal gang attack.

John Wu, a 44-year-old Chinese man was punched and kicked by a gang of four men and a woman in the Long Commons area of the Co Londonderry town on Tuesday 11th September at around 9pm.

He was in his kitchen with his wife and three-year-old daughter when they heard a commotion and the sound of breaking glass at the front of the property. He went to investigate and upon confronting the gang, he was attacked.

Ruoyin Luo told UTV she found her husband John "holding his head and eyes and blood was running down everywhere...I kept screaming and screaming and tried to call the ambulance and police."

A neighbour, who came to the victim's aid with a wet towel, said he was "very shocked" that someone could be beaten "so viciously."

Dr Wu, a doctor at a Chinese medical clinic at the Diamond shopping centre in the Co Derry town, remained in the Causeway Hospital last night being treated for facial injuries and concussion.

Ruoyin Luo said she may leave the area.  "Probably we will find a new house - that is the first step. Then we will see whether or not [we will] leave."

David McClarty, Independent Unionist MLA for East Londonderry, said news of the attack left him feeling appalled. "Chinese people are extremely well regarded in Coleraine - they're hard workers and they contribute so much to community life in Coleraine," he added.

Police would like anyone with information to get in touch.

Do Addicted Chinese Gamblers Deserve All The Punishment They Get?

Peter Chan at the Christian Centre for Gambling Rehabilitation in King’s Cross
Peter Chan, of the Christian Centre for Gambling Rehabilitation in King’s Cross

RECOVERING gambling addicts this week joined activists calling on the government to toughen up gaming laws that will restrict the soaring number of betting shops.

Members of the Chinese community, who say their lives have been ruined by gambling, added their voices to a campaign being orchestrated by figures including Peter Chan of the Christian Centre for Gambling Rehabilitation in King’s Cross.

The sufferers, who agreed to speak to the Tribune, told of how they had lost a fortune in betting shops and casinos.

Their intervention comes as the government examines whether to amend new legislation brought in by the previous Labour administration, which has allowed large numbers of bookies to open up in areas including Archway.

In a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary screened last week, Labour’s deputy leader Harriet Harman admitted that her party had been “wrong” to liberalise gaming legislation – a move which has allowed increasing numbers of betting shops to open on the high street.

Members of the Chinatown Gambling Concern Group, which believes Chinese people are particularly vulnerable to getting into debt through gambling, wants a consultation being run by the Department for Communities and Local Government to result in more obstacles being placed in the path of companies wishing to open new betting shops.

If Casinos and Betting shops are the only social option for Chinese who feel left out from  mainstream British Culture, and a lack of strong British Chinese leadership cannot provide a better social alternative for our community , then is the Christian religion the only solution for addicted Chinese gamblers?

Kenneth Tong

Kenneth Tong Insults Gary Barlow's Stillborn Baby

Kenneth Tong Big Brother contestant turned Twitter troll, has caused a stir with his latest tweets insulting Gary Barlow's stillborn daughter Poppy. The offending tweets made tabloid news, with many celebrities including Piers Morgan urging Kenneth Tong's Twitter account be shut down.

Unperturbed, Kenneth Tong boasted to The Sun newspaper, 'People will know my name and that’s all that matters...My tweets aren’t offensive to the point where they are illegal. I’m not worried about the police coming to my door. I have the best legal team.'

Kenneth Tong, a Hong Konger, claimed to be a millionaire playboy when he first appeared as a late contestant on Big Brother (Series 10) as the psychopathic boyfriend of Karly Ashworth, he quit the show after being reprimanded for threatening Rebecca 'Bea' Hamill. Although his 15 minutes of fame expired three years ago, Kenneth has remained in the public eye by trolling the internet.

In 2011, he faced death threats after launching a pro-anorexia campaign on Twitter. His tweets included: “Don’t let the fat masses oppress you from your goals. You deserve a skinny body” and “To be thinner, skip dinner." After complaints by Rihanna and thousands of other Twitter users, Tong declared the campaign was a hoax, claiming it was a dare to prove he could become a trending topic on Twitter.

BBCZeitgeist Commentary: British Chinese that have encountered racial abuse in the UK will know that if a White person is offended by a Chinese person (even if the offending Chinese has not referred to the White persons race or nor his/her racial characteristics), the White person instinctively retaliates with Sinophobic racism. Examining the Twitter backlash against Kenneth Tong, whilst the majority of tweets have refrained from racial insults (perhaps the precedence of the Stan Collymore case acts as a deterrent), others have reacted more instinctively...

The Prostitute, Her Accountant husband And Her Policeman Lover

Have you heard the one about the Chinese prostitute, her White accountant husband and her white ex-policeman lover? Full Article
Chinese brothel madam Rong Chen, 35-years-old, trafficked and controlled at least four prostitutes and managed at least five brothels has been jailed for seven years. Belfast Crown Court judge Mr Justice Stephens said her “egocentric focus for financial gain was despite there being no financial pressures” on her.

Her two white henchmen, 44-year-old accountant husband Jason Hinton, who shares the same address as Chen at Crestwood Avenue, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, and former policeman Simon Dempsey, 42, were also sentenced. While Dempsey, her one-time white lover, was handed a nine-month term for aiding and abetting the control of prostitution, her white husband Hinton walked free from court with a 220-hour community service order for the same offence.

Her diaries revealed she raked in £282,107 in the 18 months from January 2008 until May 2009 while her victims were forced to live in “squalid” conditions, forced to have sex with strangers, given very little or no freedom and threatened with murder and deportation if they objected. Chen claimed her boyfriend was a member of a triad gang, that her husband’s relatives were high ranking police officers.

Four women, all aged between 45 and 56, had answered job advertisements placed in Chinese newspapers offering £220 a week as nannies, cleaners and child minders. Once they arrived in Northern Ireland, however, they were coerced into working in brothels. Chen placed ads in newspapers, advertising how they could use the women for £70 for half-an-hour.

BBCZeitgeist Commentary: Press describes Rong Chen not simply as a prostitute, but a 'Chinese prostitute.' With no reference of deportation, it can presumed she is a British National, Chinese in this context refers to her ethnicity not her nationality, if her ethnicity is of paramount  importance, why are the press not drawing attention to the ethnicity of her husband and her former policeman ex-lover - both are 'White men' colluding with the former Chinese prostitute into profiteering from the exploitation of Chinese women?

Why Its Unsafe To Call John Terry a ‘Fucking White Cunt’

In January, Dianne Abbot was metaphorically hung by the British public for tweeting something as innocuous as “White people love playing divide and rule, we should not play their game.”
Against hounding accusations of racism against White people, she backtracked claiming a historical reference to the colonial past even though the tweet was clearly written in the present tense. Evidently, tolerance for radical outspoken ethnic speakers within the mainstream appears to be diminishing, even within the virtual realm of the internet it is no longer ‘safe’ to speak out nor fight against ‘white racism’ nor fight for ethnic causes without retribution or consequence - whatever happened to Britain’s tolerance of oppressed racial minorities' Black rights?

In 1964, Malcolm X orchestrated a highly charged ‘racial’ speech at the Oxford Union, the ‘White man’ was labelled a ‘devil’ and a ‘racialist’ to shuddering rounds of applause from the debating chamber, yet forty eight years on, times have changed, the election of Barack Obama opened new discussions on race and ethnicity discourse (Listen to podcast with Ralph Eubanks and Professor Mark Anthony Neal).

The Guardian is currently running a series of articles on racism in the digital age. It is argued in a post-racial age, the ‘White man’ neither tolerates nor feels burdened by the cries of racial suppression from its racial minorities. Whilst racial minority bloggers and journalists maybe given license on the Centre-Left Guardian newspaper to share their tribulations promoting race and ethnicity issues within the sphere of the mainstream, ironically 'below the line' comments accompanying these articles are less sympathetic, overflowing with (mostly white) egesta lacking an iota of empathy towards the plight of its ethnic minorities.

The internet mob heckle the ethnic bloggers till they scarper with their tails between their legs seeking sanctuary in the Huffington Post. 'Racism is the new McCarthyism,' the internet mob shout, ‘how dare you play the race card and drum up hysteria accusing poor innocent ‘White’ people of racism?!’

The mob are jubilant, vindicated by the courts decision in R v John Terry racist use of 'you fucking Black cunt,' yet Rio Ferdinand loses his place in the England team after making a stand against racism. So Where does this leave those still brave enough to fight or speak out against racism?
"The consensus that societies are post-racial has supported a range of political strategies often described as "cultural racism". The people are not racist, the argument goes, and any prejudice is merely a natural defensive response to the "reverse racism" of "migrants" who refuse to adapt and accept "our way of life" (Titley and Lentin, The Guardian)
In a 'post-racial age,' ethnic minorities are increasingly having to justify their position in even attempting to develop an strong ethnic identity, large sections of the community truly believe our identity should not be based on race as it is divisive. As The Guardian puts it eloquently..."being blind to race often involves being blind to racism." In attempting to deny us our ethnic identity, denying us the chance to fight back or speak out, they hope to deny us our ethnic voice, if race doesn’t exist- there can’t be any racism can there?

Anger At Early Release As Simon San’s
Attacker Goes On Rampage

Murderer: John Reid

A TEENAGER who was jailed for assaulting tragic takeaway driver Simon San during the attack which killed him was part of a joyriding gang who stole three cars and led police on high-speed chases in the Capital.

Keir Rodger broke into a house with two friends and stole three sets of keys before each of them took a vehicle and drove off across the city.

The 18-year-old, who was freed early from a 34-month sentence for his role in the killing of Mr San in August 2010, which had already been reduced on appeal to 24 months, refused to stop the stolen car when confronted by police in Burdiehouse.

Rodger pleaed guilty to housebreaking and a series of motoring offences whilst on bail, when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday alongside David Colley, 17, and Harry Tant, 20.

All three are currently on remand at Polmont Young Offenders Institution.

Politicians today condemned the early release which allowed Rodger back on to the streets to re-offend and the San family’s lawyer, Aamer Anwar, said the latest offences would compound their sense of injustice.

Mr Anwar said: “I can understand the public’s concern that repeat offenders are being released before they’re rehabilitated.

Victim: Simon San

“In the context of the case of Simon San, his family believes that they did not get justice for his death and [Keir Rodger’s appearance in court after being released early] will compound the belief that the family have.”

Lewis Macdonald, Labour’s justice spokesman, said: “At the end of the day, the courts have to make their judgements. They do not always get it right but they have to make judgements on the basis of the evidence in front of them. But sentences should mean what they say – two years in jail should mean two years in jail.

Chinese Irish Player Racially Abused By Opponents In Football Game

Sarsfields player Lee Chin.

The GAA have banned two players for racially abusing a Wexford county footballer – born and bred in the county.
Star player Lee Chin was the victim of the racial abuse when playing for Sarsfields against Duffry Rovers.

A noted dual star, Lee Chin has played hurling and football for Wexford at every level.
Wexford county chairman Diarmuid Devereux condemned the incident.
He stated: “Lee Chin is a Wexford man, born in Wexford, living in Wexford, educated in Wexford and working in Wexford. He is one of our stars of the future. Hopefully, many more will follow his example."
The two opponents were named in referee Brendan Martin’s report for racially abusing Chin. The ref specially outlined the racist remarks made by one player on the field from Duffry Rovers and by a substitute on the sideline.
The Wexford County Board have since banned both players for two months and re-iterated that they will not tolerate racism in their sport.
Duffry Rovers co-operated with the investigation and were not fined.
The decision to ban both players has been welcomed by the Gaelic Players Association which represents inter-county players in gaelic football and hurling.
A GPA spokesman told the Irish Independent: “Racism is a problem that, if allowed to go unchecked, is a huge threat, and the GAA have made huge strides to promote integration.“

Restaurant owners given one month to pay £1million

Ipswich: Restaurant owners given one month to pay £1million court order

Phing Woon Pun and his wife Kim Tai Wong, who ran the Temptation Chinese Buffet in Carr Street and the Lucky Star Takeaway in Hawthorn Drive, Ipswich, were ordered to pay a total confiscation order of £1m by a judge last year after they were found guilty of conspiring to breach UK immigration laws and converting criminal property.

Pun, 50, of Penn Close, Capel St Mary, was jailed for six years and was made the subject of a £683,370 confiscation order and his wife was jailed for 30 months and ordered to pay a £322,000 order.

Judge Peter Thompson adjourned the case until June 21 after hearing the couple were in the process of selling their Carr Street premises and arrangements had been made to sell property in Malaysia.

Judge Thompson told Pun that by the next hearing he expected him to have produced £25,000 worth of Rolex watches that had been seen by police officers during a search of the couple’s home, but had not been accounted for since.

The pair were arrested after immigration officers carried out raids at their two restaurants and discovered 20 Chinese and Malaysian illegal immigrants working at the premises.

Accidental hero of HK$6000 handouts

Benson Tsang, Nise Sou, Ban Chung and Cyrus Hu.

A man who spent his HK$6,000 government handout on buying food for Hong Kong's hungry has accidentally created a new movement to help the city's poor.

Benson Tsang Chi-ho was making a simple personal protest against the government's decision to give all permanent residents cash instead of using the money to help the people he believed really needed it.

He used his money to buy tins of food and hot meals from small, independent stores and restaurants in Sham Shui Po to feed the local poor.

A few of his friends decided to join in, using their HK$6,000 "as it should be used - back into the community".

Tsang, an interior designer, posted some pictures of their efforts on Facebook and then arranged some other "people's handouts" using the social network site.

The turning point came in February, after a government clean-up operation swooped without warning on street sleepers in Sham Shui Po. Their belongings, including bedding, identity cards, phones and clothes were confiscated and thrown away.

Tsang said: "I got so mad about it I started ranting on Facebook. That night, I brought clothes down to Sham Shui Po for [the street sleepers] but they were nowhere to be seen. It was really cold that night."

His outrage saw his actions gather momentum and now, a year and two months since the first "action" last March, 150 to 180 people gather once a month to try to make a difference. Most of them have never met each other before. And as of yesterday, 678 people had indicated on Facebook that they were taking part in the next of their planned events.

Tsang said: "It's completely decentralised and anonymous. No one needs to commit and everyone's encouraged to bring the idea back to their own neighbourhoods, or start their own actions."

Tsang said the aim wasn't just to "feed the poor" but to change the way people see others and to realise how powerful one's decisions can be.

"This is not about being sympathetic - we don't need that. It's about sharing. We are trying to rebuild community and relationships within a neighbourhood," he said.

Nise Sou Lai-sim, who does community development work in a church and has become a regular participant, said: "We don't raise funds, we don't need commitment, we have minimal organisation.

"Rather, we hope this experience will create bridges between people of different backgrounds.

"Our aim is to bring back the sense of neighbourly friendliness which Hong Kong has lost."

Sou became involved last October - at which time about 40 people were taking part - after coming across Tsang's Facebook posting about a "mooncake event", where the group was giving out 800 mooncakes which had been donated.

On Christmas Eve, she added, about 100 people turned up. She said talking to store owners, street sleepers, the elderly or cubicle dwellers was just as important as giving out food. "When you talk to people, your heart will change," she added.

She said it was also important to spend donations within the community itself. "If we buy cans of food from ParknShop and Wellcome, then the meaning is lost.

"This exercise is actually about bringing awareness. I changed the way I see, and so changed the way I consume.

"We want participants to realise this," added Sou, who said the movement had also spread to To Kwa Wan and Kowloon City.

Cyrus Hu Kwok-chum, who joined for the first time in December, said the initiative had made him aware of where food was made, and who would benefit from the money he spent.

"My eyes were opened," he added, saying he now counted street sleepers, local store and restaurant owners as well as the people collecting cardboard among his friends.

Hu works for a food import and export company and his bosses now donate food and drink which is close to their sell-by date and therefore cannot be sold to supermarkets.

Another participant Ban Chung Wing-sze, who works in publishing, was moved to act a year ago after seeing Tsang's pictures of elderly people collecting cardboard to sell in order to be able to eat that night.

"I was looking for a way to serving people, and saw that this was a good one," she said.

Tsang said 80 per cent of the people who indicated they would come to an event turned up.

Without a structure, Tsang said, he had named what was happening an "equal sharing initiative".

There are now around 20 people who help put together events. The next one climaxes on May 26 and is all about "rediscovering your little neighbourhood stalls".People are being asked to purchase five to 10 cans of food from different small, local shops, label them with the stores' addresses and paste pictures on Facebook.

On May 26 in Sham Shui Po, which has the lowest average household income in the city, participants will swap the cans of food then return to their own districts to hand out the tins to the local needy, said Tsang."We will create a network and map of all the local surviving stores all around the city, supporting them, while using our money to ultimately support the needy," added the man who started it all.

Chinese Tiger Mothers Spend £100,000 Teaching their Children 'Britishness' for Oxbridge Exams

Full Article :  Daily Mail

Wealthy mainland Chinese families are paying huge sums to British ‘Education consultants’ based in China to give their children the edge in interviews for top UK universities. This behaviour is known as 'Tiger Parenting', a term inspired by Amy 'Tiger Mom' Chua, the woman who wrote a book about her super-strict Chinese parenting style called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother.

Such forms of education in China include tutoring topics such as ‘rugby banter’ and how to chat about the perennial British weather - and even tips on how to grasp the English sense of humour.

The practice has been common for the last decade with the country's richest ploughing their vast wealth into tutoring designed to help their children win places at establishments such as Eton College and Harrow.

This has now moved on to cover further education in order to improve the childrens' chances of winning coveted spots and Oxford and Cambridge.

BE Education in China placed more than 20 Chinese students in UK universities - many who attend the classes with their own bodyguards.

In some cases this has involved being taken to British-style pubs in China to watch international rugby fixtures as well as attending drama classes to increase their confidence.

Burglars Specifically Targeted 17 Chinese Takeaways and Restaurants.

THREE burglars who raided a Chinese take-away were caught with a map identifying 17 other Chinese restaurants. Today, the trio are all beginning prison sentences after driving to Suffolk from Liverpool to carry out their own takeaway from the Tasty Wok in Nacton Road.

Stolen in the burglary at the Tasty Wok, and found in the defendants’ car, was a Rolex watch, £840 cash, four walkie talkies and two crowbars. A pendant belonging to the restaurant owner’s wife had also been stolen during the burglary.

Mark Allen Comments Are Racist To Chinese

World Snooker Championship 2012: Mark Allen Accuses Cao Yupeng of Cheating

Full Article BBC

World number 11, Mark Allen crashed out of the first round of the world Snooker championships in Sheffield accusing Cao Yu Peng of failing to declare an illegal push shot when leading 5-4. No foul was given and the 26-year-old Northern Irishman eventually lost 10-6. During a post match press conference, he said:
“It was quite obvious to me and anyone who was watching at home. Cao looked at the referee too, so I'm very confident on where I stand on that."
He went on to say that it was 'a trait' for Chinese players to engage in blatant cheating. Allen, 26, could face a fine, suspension or expulsion if found guilty of bringing the sport into disrepute.

Mark Allen's racism to Chinese snooker came to the forefront in March when China hosted Haikou World Open. Posting his Twitter account, Mark Allen racist tweets said:
"Journey a nightmare. (Chinese) People are ignorant. Place stinks. Arena's rubbish, tables poor, food is horrendous. Other than that I love China."
"Dead cat found this morning, Any wonder this place stinks. Must be dead cats all round the town."
Here's the alleged Cao Yupeng foul shot. Was it a push? Judge for yourself.

Speaking about a naked photoshoot she has done, single Analiza, 29, said: “I don’t think we should be ashamed of our bodies. I would not rule out doing it again.

Drunk Crime - Chinese Victims

Two recent press stories concerning Chinese victims of drunk crime in the UK.

Grope Attack on Chinese Female Student Leaves Victim Too Frightened to Leave Home

Shane Hobbs, 26, was captured on CCTV laughing as he walked away from his shocked victim after thrusting his fist down her trousers.

Judge Phillip Wassall said the offences were so serious, only immediate custody was appropriate.

He said: ‘You approached two Exeter University students, who were both Chinese, and out for a quiet night in Exeter. You got right in her face and your hand went down her back.

‘You touched her bottom and you reached inwards and put your hand into the area of her private parts. The victim says she was caused shock and a small amount of pain for five minutes.

‘This was plainly not touching in an instant and although it was over in ten seconds or so it was a very serious incident carried out quite deliberately in your drunken state.

He added: ‘It left her very frightened and unwilling to go out (alone at night) because she wondered if something like it could happen again. It must have been particularly distressing because she was so far away from home and had come here from different shores.'

Hobbs, of Dawlish Warren, Devon, was jailed for 16 months after admitting sexual assault on one woman and common assault on a second during the incident in February, this year.

Chinese Man Racially Threatened in Plymouth Pub

A DRINKER racially abused a Chinese man and threatened to 'bite his face off', a court heard.

Christian Rustell, 26, of Holman Way, Ivybridge, admitted racially aggravated threatening behaviour on November 20.

Eoin McCarthy, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said the victim was a British citizen of Chinese origin who worked at a North Hill takeaway. He added that he went for a drink at the nearby Carpe Diem bar after work.

He added he used racist language and moved his face to within two or three inches of the man's.

Mr McCarthy said: "He threatened to burn his shop down and bite his face off."

He added the victim backed away, but Rustell continued the racist abuse and challenged him to a fight. Mr McCarthy said Rustell grabbed the victim by his lapels before a security guard from a nearby shop came between them.

Magistrates adjourned sentence for a probation officer to prepare a full report on his background. He was released on unconditional bail to be sentenced on May 1.

WHEN Sheffield design agency The Cafeteria were commissioned by Museums Sheffield to find someone to create artwork for their China: Journey to the East at Weston Park Museum they knew just the chap to call - a designer in Manchester called Jonny Wan. What they hadn’t guessed was that in addition to having Chinese heritage he fitted the bill in another respect - he was born in Sheffield and knew the museum well.

Wan grew up in the Sharrow area and his Hong Kong-born parents were in the fast food business, latterly running a takeaway in Fulwood.

One reason that Wan welcomed the commission was that he would be able to impress his parents “As the child of an Asian family there is the perception you have never quite got a job and it’s great I have got to do things like this.”

For him personally, it is something which represents both sides of his heritage. “It was weird growing up because outside the house my culture was English and inside it was Chinese and I guess I was straddling the line in between,” he says. China: Journey to the East continues at Weston Park until April 9.

BBC Commentary: Traditional avaricious FOB parents have discouraged their children from studying artistic subjects or entering artistic professions (with the exception of architecture perhaps), they want their children to have a 'real' job (i.e doctor, lawyer, dentist, accountant, engineer etc). In view of FOB parents holding negative attitudes towards art and culture, are our FOB parents responsible for stifling BBC cultural development? Or are they right? Do FOB parents help or hinder BBC culture?

3. MURDER THE STAFF
The murder of a Chinese businessman 16 years ago is to feature on tonight's BBC Crimewatch programme. Simon Tang, 28, who was married with two sons, was beaten and robbed as he left his takeaway business in Carrickfergus on 24 June 1996. It is thought that two youths attacked him and stole less than £400 and his watch. He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries. No-one has been charged with the murder. PSNI Detective Inspector Peter Montgomery who is involved in the Crimewatch appeal said:
"This was a racist attack on a decent man going about his lawful business. It robbed Simon Tang of his life and it deprived his family of the love and support they deserve."
